Kristen Wilden: One of the most creative, thoughtful, and enthusiastic people I have ever met.
Not to mention fearless.
She loves photography. And she works the camera. I love flowers. I look for any excuse to design.
We had the dream for awhile to work together on a photo shoot using floral crowns.
I wanted bright, refreshing colors. She wanted dreamy lace, long skirts, and angelic lighting.
She asked me to model in the shoot. I laughed, because I don't have a serious face,
much less any talent with posing.
Enter Brooke - the beautiful model who brought this all together for us.
It's been awhile since the shoot, but I am still loving these images - probably even more than when I first saw them, if that's possible. Kristen wanted to make a "fairytale" come to life - you know, the kind of dreams you have as a little girl, of being a princess. She made mine come true, and at least for that day, I really did believe in this magic.
So indulge us a little -- and come with us into our fairytale.
